ESEA is proud to announce Free Nights which will take place every Tuesday and Thursday of each week at 8:00 PM EST and that will give anyone involved a free 24-hour, all-access pass to ESEA!
These nights will begin with a quick 10-minute run-through on Ventrilo by select ESEA staff members which will simply act as an introduction to all the features that will be available to those trying out ESEA for the first time, or those interested in knowing what has changed.

After two years of work, G7 Teams has relaunched our website with updated functionality, content, and information to better serve the community.
Aside from the redesign, we've added a community calendar of events to not only show upcoming events but also to offer our evaluation based on a catalogue of criteria. Event organizers can not only view other confirmed events, but also add events for G7 Teams to review and confirm before sharing them with the community. We hope this new feature fosters information sharing among e-sports organizers and helps teams better plan their calendar of events.
The second most noteworthy change is the addition of a G7 Affiliate Program. Teams can apply to become an Affiliate to work with member teams to improve and progress e-sports. Affiliates will have a more direct communication channel to G7 Teams to help resolve community issue and participate in G7 surveys and reviews.
We hope the new website and advanced functionality helps keep G7 Teams more accessible to the community and transparent with the ongoing and often behind the scenes work we're busy with.

Valve today announced a set of new releases for Team Fortress 2, the title named Multiplayer Game of the Year by PC Gamer and Gamespy.com.
The main event of the week is the Pyro Update, which will be made available this Thursday and contains three unlockable new weapons for the Pyro plus 35 new achievements. In addition, two user-created maps are included to highlight the great work being done in the community and distribute those works to all TF2 players..
Meanwhile as folks wait for the Pyro Update to be released, the latest in the "Meet the Team" video shorts, "Meet the Sniper," will be made available tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) at 11 am PDT along with a web site dedicated to the Pyro update.
Finally, to give everyone a chance to try the new weapons and community maps, Valve will hold another Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend via Steam beginning this Friday at 11 am PDT.
Make sure you pre download TF2 before the weekend, the last free weekend the servers where very busy, and this caused people to wait a long time and miss some of the weekend. So go get it now.

Consumers voted Call of Duty 4 the best game of all time in a poll run by GAME, the leading video game retailer in the UK.
CoD4 pipped titles like Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto IV to top spot. The top ten ranked games are as follows:

R. Kelly cleared over child sex tape
A Chicago jury has acquitted US singer R Kelly of all 14 charges of child pornography against him.
He was found not guilty of making an explicit sex video that prosecutors had said showed him having sex with a girl as young as 13.
Both Mr Kelly and the alleged victim, now 23, denied they were the people shown on the tape, which the jury saw.
If found guilty, he had faced up to 15 years in prison. His hits include She's Got That Vibe and I Believe I Can Fly.
The Grammy award-winning singer, 41, was arrested in 2002 after the video was leaked to the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper.
The tape, 26-minutes long, showed a man having sex with an underage girl.
Conflicting testimony
The prosecution's chief witness was a woman who said she had had three-way sex with Mr Kelly and the alleged victim from the video, Associated Press news agency reported.
The defense attempted to discredit the witness, saying she had tried to extort money from Mr Kelly.
The defense argued that the man in the tape did not have a large mole on his back as does Mr Kelly, and that the tape could have been doctored.
An FBI expert told the court the tape was not faked but that it was a copy which had been duplicated several times.
During the trial, some relatives of the alleged victim testified that the girl on the tape was not their family member. Other relatives said they recognized the girl.

The websites nearly complete now, I've added a few more features to it and changed some of the content.

I've fixed a lot of bugs with the site over the last two days, theres still a lot to be sorted but the sites getting there, i've mostly been working on sorting out the forums and next on my to do list is the member profiles.
Thanks to Psyk who redone the banner, default avatar and default member pictures for the site.

For this site I fought I'd use a different approach as before it was light on dark, whereas now its dark on light and now its more of a community related site focusing on the Counter-Strike: Source community from both Europe and America.
It's got two sections to the news now, Team and Scene news. As well as Euro team league rankings.
The new server is coming soon from Direct Clan Hosting, It'll feature a custom zblock script which scans the Starz Gaming database to look for players who are on the site so they're verified.
